DAY 4 (S-20th): EVIAN -- ST. PAUL-EN-CHABLAIS (3-4 hrs.)
starting in Evian to St-Paul-en-Chablais - Bernex (3-4 hours)--stay in a hotel (no gite or refuge)--recommended: Hotel Bois Joli** in Beunaz (St- Paul-en-Chablais) --made a reservation for the 20th under "Laura Rosenkranz." 104 euros+food, etc. [painting day 2?]

DAY 5 (M-21st): ST. PAUL-EN-CHABLAIS -- DENT D'OCHE (5-6 hours)
Refuge Dent d'Oche 18 Eur/night (9 Eur w/CAF membership) very rustic, but breakfast and dinner served, don't attempt in misty/rainy weather photos

DAY 6 (T-22nd): DENT D'OCHE -- LA-CHAPELLE-D'ABONDANCE (5 hours)

Day 13 (T-29th): REFUGE DE MOEDE -- CHAMONIX/ARGENTIERE (4-5 hrs.)
to summit of the Brevant, great views of Mont Blanc and Chamonix Valley (4 hrs) and take the télépherique down to Chamonix (via Pranplatz), bus or walk to Argentiere
Gite le Belvedere (stay 2 nights?), in Argentiere, about 5 miles (20 min. bus ride) from Chamonix. Highly recommended, affordable lodging, smaller quaint town, meals available, helpful, English speaking staff
DAY 14(W-30th): CHAMONIX/ARGENTIERE
spend the day in Chamonix or hiking--lots to do--Jazz festival this week.--[reserved July 29 and 30 at Gite le Bevedere].

travel to Geneva airport and travel home (flight leaves at 12:10 pm) Shuttle service to Geneva--made reservation with alpybus http://book.alpybus.com Must print email confirmation (ticket) and have in possession. Also, must either provide valid cell number or call them the night before pick up to confirm departure time. depart at 7:45 am, 90 min. trip.
